"heretics" and the pitiless murder of all the innocent and unarmed... in the name of
Christ and the "most holy" and "all-forgiving" church.

The castle fortress of Montsegur. I think few were fortunate enough to see this drawing ... That is what
Monsegur was in 1244, during the cruel and long siege of the crusaders. This model was recreated by the
French architect Pelerin according to the drawings of 1204 and received the highest rating from the
organization of Historical Monuments of France (copyright L. Derien). In today's building, rebuilt in 1845 by
the new owner, Guy de Levis, and again destroyed at the end of the eighteenth century, Monsegyur III, to
everyone’s sorrow, the Cathars never lived ... And no matter how much we would like to imagine, that it was
in the ruins of today's walls that the terrible and inhuman events of 1244 took place, this would,
unfortunately, be the greatest lie ...
