In this state the brain is not yet ready for a quick return of the spirit into its physical
body. But certain situations may arise, when the spirit, escaping from astral predators,
must quickly enter the body’s protective psi-field. Or, when in a life-threatening
situation, a person must quickly awaken himself and be prepared for action. In such
cases the brain returns to its normal activity only after some period of time following
