At the linkage site of λ8 and λ7, a channel develops between them (just as it does
between the nuclei of cells). Through that channel, primary matters from λ8 start
flowing over to λ7; however, a qualitative difference exists between the substances of
λ8 and λ7. Therefore, at the linkage site, substance from λ8 disintegrates, while
substance from λ7 is synthesized out of the disintegration by-products of λ8. Thus,
