            nebula, which, over time, gives rise to the formation of planets. A salient fact is – the
            closer to the star a planet is born, the higher its density and the greater its ratio

            of heavy atoms. Conversely, the farther away from the parent star it happens to
            emerge, the lower the density and the greater its proportion of “light” atoms, or
            elements – e.g., hydrogen, oxygen, water, etc. (see F Fi ig g. .   1 16 63 3, 1 16 64 4).
