            A  control  signal  is  then  transmitted  through  the  sympathetic  nerve  connected  to  a

            specific organ, such as the pancreas, which, in turn, responds by activating its function.
            As the organ responds to the sympathetic signal, this triggers a nerve receptor of the
            parasympathetic system to send signals to the corresponding area in the spinal cord via
            the parasympathetic nerve branch.
