The physical sphere of Earth shares the largest number of qualities with the etheric
sphere, which is closest to it, and shares the smallest number of qualities with the third
mental sphere, which is farthest from it. Mutual or shared qualities of the different
spheres create certain conditions for their interaction. The amount of interaction
between two spheres depends upon the number of qualities they share.
The amount of interaction between spheres can be defined as their “coefficient of
interaction”:
