other words, each atom thereby decreases the microcosmic space by a certain value
of ∆λ'.
The hydrogen atom induces the smallest change in its microcosmic space by a specific
value of ∆λ'. The hydrogen atom produces the smallest change, ∆λ'min = -
0.0000859712 while the greatest change ∆λ'max = - 0.02020234, is induced by
radioactive elements. With the latter, however, the change in microcosmic dimensions
is quantitatively comparable, but opposite in sign to that which was necessary for the
original creation of mass from the merging of the various primary matters.
∆λ' ≈ ∆λ
where:
∆λ = 0.02023236…
and
∆λ'max = - 0.02020234…
This is precisely why radioactive elements disintegrate into simpler ones: the process
of disintegration proceeds more rapidly as ∆λ' max approximates ∆λ (F Fi ig g. . 1 13 3).
